The Constitutional Court annuls two agreements of the Bureau of Parliament on self-determination and against the sentence of the leaders of 1 October

The Constitutional Court annuls the agreements of the Bureau of Parliament of 25 September 2019 that initiated the procedure of the draft resolutions ‘For an agreed response to the sentence of the trial of the Catalan independence process’ and ‘An agreement for self-determination, amnesty and civil and political rights,’ put forward by ERC, JxCat and the CUP, which were approved during the plenary session of the Parliament of Catalonia on 26 September 2019. The decision is the result of an appeal for protection filed by Ciutadans. Magistrates Xiol Ríos and Sáez Valcárcel issue private votes.
