The Constitutional Court notifies those injured in Callús during the 1 October police violence that their appeal for protection will be considered

Breaches:

Those injured in the police violence and arrests during the 1 October referendum had presented an appeal for protection following the dismissal of the case against the Civil Guard officers involved. The appeal argues that the appellants’ right to an adequate and effective investigation was violated during the preliminary investigation stage, and as a result, so too was their right to effective judicial protection. In Bages, however, the cases against the 1 October police violence continue to be thrown out, including the investigation into the Civil Guard officer who allegedly assaulted Jordi Pesarrodona at the Joncadella school in Sant Joan de Vilatorrada.
