Breaches:
The Second Examining Magistrate’s Court of Manresa provisionally files the case opened against the mayor of Callús Joan Badia, for a crime of disobedience to the Civil Guard during the police action at the 1 October referendum. The Prosecutor’s Office stated that the case should be filed due to lack of incriminating evidence or in any case, sufficient evidence to maintain the accusation. In March 2019, the same court also filed the case against the mayor of Fonollosa, Eloi Hernàndez, arguing that he had not been notified that the referendum had been cancelled by the Constitutional Court. However, the judge decided to sent the other party under investigation, Jordi Pesarrodona, to trial for serious disobedience.
