The Supreme Court rejects Jordi Sànchez’s appeal for his investiture

The the Supreme Court’s Criminal Chamber ratifies the decision made by judge Pablo Llarena not to grant a special permit to Jordi Sànchez to attend the debate of his investiture, scheduled for 12 March. Prosecuted for his involvement in the 1 October referendum, Sànchez submitted an appeal for protection (24 April) that was accepted for consideration by the Constitutional Court on 8 May.
