Breaches:
President Puigdemont, Jordi Turull, Jordi Sànchez, Josep Rull and the other JxCat MPs submit an appeal for protection to the Constitutional Court against judge Pablo Llarena’s ruling on 23 March to imprison Turull for his role in the 1 October referendum, preventing his investiture as president of the Government of Catalonia, given that they consider this a violation of the right to political participation. The Constitutional Court accepts the appeal for consideration on 17 July.
