Breaches:
The General Court of the European Union rejects the new request, submitted by Carles Puigdemont, Antoni Comín and Clara Ponsatí, to provisionally have their immunity restored for as long as their appeal against the petition of the European Parliament is being resolved, on grounds that the original procedure (the case against 1 October) and the measures derived from the trial (the European Arrest Warrants) are to be considered suspended by legal imperative as established by the Statute of the Court of Justice of the European Union. That is to say, that no Member State can execute the warrants issued by Llarena against Puigdemont, Comín and Ponsatí. The MEPs had again asked for precautionary measures following the arrest of Puigdemont in Sardinia in September 2021.
