The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) condemns Spain for persecuting those who burn photos of the King

Breaches:

The European court rules that the Spanish State violated the right to freedom of expression of Jaume Roura and Enric Stern by convicting them of the crime of lèse majesté imposed by the National High Court for burning photos of the King. The ECHR obliges the State to compensate them for having violated their right to freedom of expression.
