The Guardian reveals that the President of the Parliament of Catalonia, Roger Torrent, and the former CUP MP, Anna Gabriel, have been victims of espionage via the Pegasus software

Breaches:

The investigation, carried out jointly by The Guardian and El País as well as in cooperation with the University of Toronto research group CitizenLab has revealed that, in addition to the President of Parliament, three other people (Roger Torrent (ERC), Anna Gabriel (CUP) and Jordi Domingo (activist)) have also been been subject to political espionage. Although the Spanish government denies having anything to do with it, Pegasus is spy software that can only be bought by states.
