The High Court of Justice of Catalonia again dismisses the case against Buch, and the Prosecutor’s Office appeals

The judge carrying out the High Court of Justice of Catalonia’s preliminary investigation in the case against Miquel Buch for his role in the organisation of the referendum, now limited to his actions as mayor, once again the case to be closed and definitively dismissed. According to the investigating judge, there is no record of any actions by Buch as mayor in connection with the organisation of the referendum following the Constitutional Court’s the notification of the suspension of the Referendum Law. The Prosecutor’s Office again appeals the dismissal before the Appeals Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia.
