Breaches:
The High Court of Justice of Catalonia rejects the appeal filed by Quim Torra’s government against the precautionary measure of removing the banner with the slogan ‘Free political prisoners and exiles’ and a yellow ribbon from the balcony of the Palace of the Government of Catalonia. The removal had been ordered by the court following the complaint filed by the Impulso Ciudadano association. The court also refers the case to the Criminal Chamber of the same court so that it can investigate whether the president’srefusal to remove the banner could constitute a crime.
