The Ministry of the Interior relieves a policeman of his duties for his involvement in the alleged case of spying on the pro-independence Left

Breaches:

The General Directorate of the Police opens a disciplinary case and relieves a Mosso d’Esquadra officer of the General Commissariat of Information of his duties for allegedly spying on the pro-independence Left. Organisations such as the CUP, La Forja and the Union of Students of the Catalan Countries (SEPC) had detected that their emails were being used to obtain internal information, such as the composition of their organisational bodies or their calls for events or demonstrations. The collective Alerta Solidària, which brought the case to court, claims that the Mossos d’Esquadra and the CTTI, the Telecommunications Centre of the Catalan Government, were behind some of these attempts to impersonate them.
