The Mossos d’Esquadra arrest 14 members of the CDRs, one of them a minor, for chaining themselves together for an hour on the steps of the Palau de Justice in Barcelona

The activists are arrested by the Mossos d’Esquadra for protesting, along with 237 other people, against the application of Article 155 and demanding the release of political prisoners. The Prosecutor’s Office, as the only prosecuting body, charges them with two and a half years in prison for eleven of the adults for public disturbance. The other two adults face a year in prison for disobedience and a serious crime of resisting authority.
