The Prosecutor’s Office files a complaint against Quim Torra in relation to the yellow ribbons

Breaches:

The Prosecutor’s Office of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia files a complaint against the president of the Government of Catalonia, Quim Torra, in relation to a crime of disobedience for not having removed the banner with the slogan ‘Free political prisoners and exiles’ and a yellow ribbon when the Central Electoral Board ordered him to do so. The Central Electoral Board itself had sent the case to the Prosecutor’s Office so it could explore possible criminal charges. On 1 April, the High Court of Justice of Catalonia accepts the complaint for consideration. The political party VOX will also file a complaint, and will be allowed to bring a private prosecution in the case.
