The Prosecutor’s Office requests prison terms for the former Minister of the Interior of the Catalan Government Miquel Buch and for the Mosso d’Esquadra accused of escorting Puigdemont into exile

The Public Ministry accuses him of alleged crimes of prevarication and embezzlement of public funds for having hired the sergeant of the Mossos d’Esquadra Lluís Escolà as security advisor for his Ministry. Escolà, on the other hand, is accused of having served as President Carles Puigdemont’s escort into exile. The Prosecutor’s Office also requests 4 years and 6 months in prison and 23 years of disqualification for the sergeant.
