Breaches:
PP, Ciudadanos and VOX ask the Central Electoral Board to strip Oriol Junqueras of his seat in the European Parliament in light of the Supreme Court’s verdict convicting him in the case against the leaders of the 1 October referendum. The three parties thus seek to prevent Junqueras from taking his seat following the ruling by the Court of Justice of the EU establishing that he has been an MEP with immunity since the European election results were proclaimed. Meanwhile, Junqueras’s defence asks the Supreme Court to release him immediately and annul his conviction.
