Breaches:
The Criminal Chamber responsible for making judgement in the 1 October referendum case, whose president is Manuel Marchena, denies the request for freedom presented by Oriol Junqueras, Raül Romeva, Jordi Turull, Josep Rull, Joaquim Forn, Dolors Bassa, Carme Forcadell, Jordi Cuixart and Jordi Sànchez between 16 and 20 July and maintains the sentence to preventive detention. The following day, Josep Rull, Raül Romeva and Dolors Bassa submit a request to the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention of the United Nations for a ruling on their imprisonment.
