Breaches:
The Supreme Court’s Special Chamber responsible for hearing recusals, chaired by Supreme Court President Carlos Lesmes, dismisses the recusal against Manuel Marchena and other members of the Criminal Chamber responsible for passing judgement for the case against the leaders of the 1 October referendum submitted by Jordi Sànchez, Jordi Turull and Josep Rull, Oriol Junqueras and Raül Romeva, Carme Forcadell, Jordi Cuixart and Dolors Bassa, and declares the recusal presented by Carles Puigdemont, Clara Ponsatí and Lluís Puig inadmissible, given that they are serving crimes for rebellion. On 6 November, Turull and Rull submitted an appeal for protection to the Constitutional Court against the decision of the Special Chamber.
