The Supreme Court keeps the 1 October political prisoners in jail

Breaches:

The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, presided over by Manuel Marchena, denies the new requests for release submitted by Oriol Junqueras, Raül Romeva, Jordi Turull, Josep Rull, Joaquim Forn, Dolors Bassa, Carme Forcadell, Jordi Cuixart and Jordi Sànchez and keeps them in pre-trial detention, arguing that their flight risk has increased because there are ‘organised power structures’ outside of the Spanish state at the service of the exiles. Meanwhile, the court indicates to the Ministry of the Interior that it should plan the transfer of the prisoners to Madrid, as the court intends to start the trial shortly.
