The Third Examining Magistrate’s Court of Cornellà de Llobregat summons six senior officers from the Mossos d’Esquadra for not preventing the referendum from going ahead on 1 October

Breaches:

Officers Lluís Ferran López, Joan Carles Molinero, Emili Quevedo and Francisco Javier Gámez, the intendants Antoni Verger and Amadeu Domingo and the head of the General Directorate of the Police, María Paz Martí, have been summoned to give evidence on 12 and 13 December as they come under investigation in the case following the complaint filed by VOX in which they are accused of crimes of rebellion, sedition and disobedience. The court agreed to the proceedings after National High Court Magistrate Carmen Lamela refused to take on the case referred to her by the High Court of Justice of Catalonia to include it with the investigation into Major Josep Lluís Trapero. The court asks the Civil Guard to investigate how decisions are made within the body of the Mossos d’Esquadra.
