The trial against Gonzalo Boye begins at the National High Court

Breaches:

The trial is part of the investigation opened in October 2019 against José Ramón Prado Bugallo, also known as ‘Sito Miñanco,’ who was represented in court by Gonzalo Boye for his alleged participation in two drug trafficking operations that attempted to bring almost four tons of cocaine into Spain. The Magistrate of the National High Court, María Tardón, is investigating Gonzalo Boye for the alleged crimes of money laundering derived from drug trafficking and continuous falsification of official documents. The court is asking for a bail of 900,000 euros for Boye, who is also the lawyer of the exiled leaders of the 1 October referendum, Carles Puigdemont, Toni Comín, Clara Ponsatí and Lluís Puig. Boye has lodged an appeal to this same court.
