Breaches:
The trial against Ivan Altimira, a former CUP city councillor in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, and David Carmona, a member of the same party, comes to a close. Altamira and Carmona were being tried in connection with an event held in the Sagrera neighbourhood on 16 September 2017 in support of the referendum. The Prosecutor’s Office maintains its initial sentencing requests: two years in prison and a 720 euro fine for David Carmona for the crimes of violence against the authority and minor injuries, and one year in prison and a 720 euro fine for Ivan Altimira for the crimes of resistance and minor injuries.
