Multitudes of demonstrators all over Catalonia protest the ruling against the leaders of the 1 October referendum

Breaches:

Most of the protests are called by Tsunami Democràtic and the Committees for the Defence of the Republic (CDRs). The week of protests begins the same day the ruling is made public, with Tsunami Democràtic’s call for the demonstrations at Barcelona’s El Prat airport and with other actions throughout Catalonia, including protests at the Spanish government delegation in Barcelona, as well as on Via Laietana, in Plaça Urquinaona and on several highways. The National Police and the Mossos d’Esquadra crack down brutally on protesters and the week ends with 639 injured, 214 arrested, four people who have lost sight in one eye due to the impact of rubber bullets, and six people with other serious injuries.
