Two of the four protesters convicted for blocking the Ronda de Dalt motorway on 8 November 2017 are convicted

Breaches:

The Provincial Court of Barcelona acquits the four demonstrators of the crime against traffic safety but sentences Francisco Garrobo, member of the Municipal Secretariat of the CUP of Barcelona, and Moisès Fernández to a sentence of 3 years and 6 months in prison and one year in prison, respectively, for the crime of serious public disturbance with aggravated recidivism. The two convicted, both members of the CDRs, participated in the four-hour blockade of the Ronda de Dalt in Barcelona during the general strike of 8 November, which was called by the Intersindical-CSC to protest against the application of article 155 and the imprisonment of the pro-independence leaders. Alerta Solidària announces that they will present an appeal for protection to the High Court of Justice of Catalonia.
