Examining Magistrate’s Court No. 13 sends Aragonès and Jové to the High Court of Justice of Catalonia

The Examining Magistrate’s Court No. 13 of Barcelona, investigating the charges to the Government of Catalonia in relation to organising the referendum, asks the High Court of Justice of Catalonia to take on the case against the vice-president of the CatalanGovernment Pere Aragonès (Minister of Economy and Finance in 2017) and ERC minister Josep Maria Jové (Secretary to the Vice Presidency in 2017) in relation to the organisers of 1 October, given their parliamentary immunity. Jové was already under investigation by this court for alleged crimes of disobedience, disclosure of secrets and embezzlement of public funds.
