Breaches:
The young man had filed a lawsuit against the Mossos d’Esquadra and the Policía Nacional for torture in the course of his arrest on April 2003, that resulted in him being admitted to an intensive care unit. The Court finds that there is not enough evidence of torture. Vilaseca will file an amparo appeal with the Constitutional Court, that will be dismissed. The arrest of Vilaseca in 2003 was carried out by orders of Central Investigating Court number 5 of the National High Court Baltasar Garzón, under the Antiterrorist Law. In November 2005, the judge of the National High Court, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, that will be then in charge of the pre-trial stage of the case, will indict the young men. On 27 June 2007, after more than 4 years of the arrests, the trial will be held against Vilaseca and the other two young men of Torà, Jordi Torné and Antoni Codina, before the National High Court, for the crimes of possession of incendiary devices and continued damages.
