The Third Examining Magistrate’s Court of Cornellà de Llobregat starts proceedings against 6 senior leaders of the Mossos d’Esquadra (the commissioners Lluís Ferran López, Joan Carles Molinero, Emili Quevedo and Francisco Javier Gámez, and the intendants Antoni Verger and Amadeu Domingo) and the head of the General Directorate of the Police (María Paz Martí) for alleged crimes of sedition, rebellion and disobedience for failing to prevent the 1 October referendum from being held.
