El Confidencial published an article on 10 June 2020 where it stated that eight MPs from JxCat took advantage of the donations to fight the Covid-19 pandemic to send funds to Carles Puigdemont in Waterloo. The judgment orders the media outlet to rectify. In addition, it finds that the article had a damaging content and disqualifies the plaintiff and that it is not truthful information that has been duly fact checked. El Confidencial publishes and article whereby it rectifies and acknowledges, inter alia, that no MP in the party sent money to Carles Puigdemont using these kind of donations.
