The Jovent Republicà (ERC) notes how, on 23 February 2022, at an associations’ meeting at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Duran demonstrated, with other young people, against the participation of S’ha Acabat organisation. The protest went by without any incident However, after a few months, Duran and the other young boys received a subpoena. The Prosecutor’s Office specialized in hate crimes requests three years in prison for the crimes of coercion, minor injuries and stealing of the Spanish flag. S’ha Acabat, moreover, asks for three years in prison and adds the crimes of public disorders and the crime against the free exercise of the right to assembly and protesting.
