The High Court of Justice of Catalonia lowers Oriol Calvo’s sentence, who will not go to prison

Breaches:

The High Court of Justice of Catalonia lowers to one year and six months in prison the sentence of Barcelona Provincial Court of for years and a month in prison for his participation in the demonstrations against the judgment that sentenced the 1 October referendum leaders. In this judgment, the High Court acquits him for the crime of attacking the authority as they consider that there is a lack of factual sufficiency as regards the crime, since there is not an individualization of the agents against whom the action is directed. They keep, however, the sentence for the crime of public disorders, and sentence him to a year and six months in prison. Therefore, in the end, Oriol Calvo won’t go to prison.
