Following the ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union establishing that MEP status and the immunity that comes with it are acquired when the European Parliament election results are announced, the court of first instance of Brussels decides to suspend the extradition proceedings against President Carles Puigdemont and Minister Toni Comín. However, the court continues with the extradition proceedings against Lluís Puig.
