The former president of the Parliament had appealed against the resolution of the Supreme Court that sentenced her to 11 years and 6 months in prison and disqualification on grounds of committing a crime of sedition. The court makes this decision before its renewal, orchestrated by PSOE and the PP, and with two particular votes of the magistrate Juan Antonio Xiol and the magistrate María Luisa Balaguer.
