The Constitutional Court voids two decrees and one resolution on the 1 October referendum

Breaches:

The Constitutional Court declares unconstitutional the decree calling for the referendum, the decree on complementary measures regarding the organisation of the referendum and the Parliament’s resolution to appoint the Electoral Commission. It also rejects the appeal presented by the Government of Catalonia against the application of Article 155 of the Constitution given that it was presented on 27 October before having been approved by the Senate and before being published. On 26 October, the Constitutional Court had already rejected the appeals presented by the PDeCat and ERC senators against processing Article 155 in the Senate.
