The three demonstrators arrested during the demonstrations in front of Parliament in support of the investiture of Carles Puigdemont, on 30 January 2018, testify before the Provincial Court of Barcelona. The Prosecutor’s Office is demanding three years in prison for the three, who are accused of public disturbance and attacking law enforcement officers. The Catalan Government, which initially requested two years in prison for each of them, withdraws its accusation. On 30 October 2020, the three defendants were acquitted.
