The investigating magistrate of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia of the second case of disobedience against Quim Torra and Carlos Ramos, withdraws in favour of an ordinary examining magistrate’s court

Breaches:

The magistrate investigating the case against the former president, Quim Torra, for not having removed a banner featuring a yellow ribbon from the balcony of the Palau de la Generalitat, has withdrawn from the case and referred it to an ordinary examining magistrate’s court, which will now be the Examining Magistrate’s Court no. 24 of Barcelona. This withdrawal of jurisdiction is due to the fact that Torra has lost his parliamentary immunity after his disqualification. The lawsuit was originally filed by the pro-Spanish association Impulso Ciudadano.
