The former mayor of Dosrius and a councillor of the municipality provide statements before Mataró court

Breaches:

Marc Bosch, mayor of Dosrius (Maresme), and Eduard Garcia, councillor of the same municipality, provide statements before the Fourth Examining Magistrate’s Court of Mataró where they are under investigation for an alleged crime of ‘serious disobedience and resistance’ during the 1 October referendum. The statement had been scheduled for 2018 but has been postponed up to three times, most recently to 28 June 2021. Bosch had been injured during a police charge at a school in his municipality and had filed, together with Garcia, a complaint against the Mossos d’Esquadra for the injuries they suffered during the police charges on 1 October. The same court has 40 Civil Guard for the police charges in that same town on that day. The Associació de Juristes pels Drets Humans denounces the lack of cooperation by the Prosecutor’s Office during proceedings, since it has not appeared before preliminary proceedings not even once.
