Breaches:
The General State Prosecutor’s Office agrees to a six-month extension of the proceedings against the mayors who had collaborated with the Government of Catalonia in organising the 1 October referendum, given that the six-month period given for the proceedings had expired. The investigation is carried out by the Catalan Public Prosecutor’s Office in the case of mayors who are members of Parliament and by the provincial and area prosecutors’ offices in all other cases. On 17 April, the head of the Catalan Prosecutor’s Office agreed to continue the proceedings.
