The Prosecutor’s Office requests six and a half years in prison for two young people from Girona who were arrested and imprisoned during the protests that followed the issuing of the sentence

The Prosecutor’s Office requests six and a half years in prison and a fine of 1,200 euros for a young man from Girona, Robert Llach, for allegedly committing crimes of public disturbance, attacking the authorities and causing minor injuries during the protests against the sentence issued against the leaders of the 1 October, despite not having taken part in said protests. His trial was set for 26 January 2022, but was finally held on 8 June 2022. For Pau Sánchez, the other detainee, the Prosecutor’s Office requests six and a half years in prison and a three-month fine, also for allegedly committing crimes of attacking on the Authority, public disorders and causing minor injuries. The trial against Pau Sánchez is held on 1 December 2021.
