The Superem Court rules that Puigdemont, Comín and Ponsatí can stand in the European elections

Breaches:

The Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court rules that the ordinary courts have the jurisdiction to make a decision regarding the appeals presented by Carles Puigdemont, Antoni Comín, Clara Ponsatí and Lliures per Europa (Junts) against their disqualification as candidates in the European elections. However, it notes that since there are no grounds for finding Puigdemont, Comín and Ponsatí ineligible, they cannot be disqualified as candidates. The following day, the administrative courts where the appeals had been lodged follow the Supreme Court’s indications, overturning the Central Electoral Board’s ruling and confirming that Puigdemont, Comín and Ponsatí, persecuted in the case against the leaders of the 1 October referendum, can stand in the elections.
