New wave of European Arrest Warrants

Breaches:

On the same day the Supreme Court’s verdict against the leaders of the 1 October referendum is made public, the investigating judge in the case, Pablo Llarena, once again issues a European Arrest Warrant against Carles Puigdemont, who returned to Brussels in July 2018 after Llarena withdrew the European Arrest Warrant given Germany’s refusal to extradite him for a crime of rebellion or sedition. Puigdemont presents an appeal before Llarena against the European Arrest Warrant, issued for the crimes of sedition and embezzlement of public funds, arguing that it violates his immunity as a member of European Parliament.
